Position Summary



The Flash Designer is a creative position who can “think outside the box”, while employing strategic web design functionality and optimization. This position serves as an expert in design theory and implementation to create designs for web-based graphics and flash animation for a variety of client needs.

The Flash Designer is responsible for the development and execution of web-based graphic design, User Interface design and Flash animation. The Flash Designer will be responsible for the brainstorming and creation of a broad variety of design assignments from concept through final production. This position will work with a team of developers, project managers and other graphic and web designers.



Technical / Professional Requirements

• Experience in adobe Flash, Action Script

• Knowledge of PHP, XML, Action Script 3

• Knowledge of HTML5

• Design and create custom, innovative, and effective web designs

• Develop content into dynamic multimedia pages

• Create interactive Flash design, functionality, custom solutions

• Publish updates and changes to web pages efficiently and accurately

• Knowledge of software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Aftereffect, Maya

• Good sense of color

• Good in drawing and animation skills

• Good judgment of animation speed and good sense of rhythm

• Must be creative, resourceful, innovative and pro-active

Competency / Performance Requirements

• Fast learner and self-motivated, willing to learn and know new technologies

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Flexible

• Ability to handle stress very well and work under pressure
